Traditionally, on the third weekend of July, from July 15 to July 17, Cēsis will celebrate its biggest holiday of the year – “Cēsis 816”. This will be the first holiday after a longer break, when the events of the extensive program can be attended in person without restrictions. The main motive of the holiday, referring to the reform of the counties that took place last year, is growth. Growth in the field of physical, intellectual and environmental protection, to which special attention will be paid this holiday.
